A facemask that detects COVID?

A team of researchers from the Harvard Wyss Institute and MIT are working on a smart mask that can detect SARS-CoV-2 in the wearer’s exhalations – a technology that, if successful, could be integrated into other protective clothing worn by healthcare workers, alerting them to the presence of the virus.
