Can brainwaves help detect early Alzheimer’s?

Researchers at the University of Bath in the UK certainly hope so. They are experimenting with special EEG caps that track brainwaves in patients as they view images on a computer screen, looking for patterns that may indicate early onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
